1. Go to MBAM and open My Account.
2. Then, tap Deactivate.
3. Go to Settings and locate Advanced Settings.
4. Then, uncheck the Enable self-protection module option.
5. Disable MBAM and download the mbam-clean.exe tool from Malwarebytes.
6. End the other running programs and disable other security tools.

5. Then, choose the Sign in without a Microsoft account option for creating a new account.
6. Now tap Next.
7. Then, tap Local Account on the next screen to select your choice and fill in the necessary information.
8. Once you have created a new account, enter shutdown-L in the command prompt to sign out of the existing account.
9. Sign in to your newly created Account.
10. Hence, the malware not working issue disappears successfully.
