Having trouble with your Kaspersky Antivirus

Kaspersky is one of the fastest antivirus applications to scan your devices to detect any issues in your device. However, there can be many situations where your app is unable to run the scan. Causes:

• The app has not been updated: If your Kaspersky application is not updated for a long time, you can get the issue while you try to run the scanning process. 
• A glitch in your Kaspersky app: Sometimes, your app can have some minor or major issue without any particular reason. This can also be the cause of scan failure. 

Solution 1. Uninstall and reinstall Kaspersky on your device

1. Firstly, go to the Kaspersky icon located in the taskbar's system tray and right-click on it.
2. After that, click on the Exit option.
3. If you see a pop-up asking for your confirmation, click Yes.
4. After that, you must open the control panel on your device and head to the Programs & Features option.
5. In the programs & features window, you need to choose the Uninstall/Change option.
6. If you see the application is password protected, then you need to enter the password.
7. And then click on the Yes option.
8. Afterward, select Next.
9. If you are asked to enter the password once again, enter it and click on the Next option. 
10. You can save your product activation code for further use. After that, you need to follow any of the follow-up steps. 
    • Click on the Next option if you are already signed into Kaspersky. 
    • If you are not signed into your Kaspersky account, then you need to choose and sign in from the open application interface. After that, select Next. 
11. Now, you have to click on the checkboxes according to your requirements. 
12. After that, choose Next, and in the next screen, select Remove. 
13. Click on the Yes option to reboot your computer system. 
14. After that, you can complete the installation process once again. 

Solution 2. Update your Kaspersky application.

1. For the first step, you need to move to the lower right side of your desktop screen. 
2. After that, click on the Λ icon to see your Kaspersky app. 
3. And then, right-click on the app icon. 
4. From the open list of options, choose Run database update. 
5. After that, your system will download any updates for your Kaspersky app.
