Causes

Solution 1: Uninstall Bitdefender (For Windows 10 & 11)

  1. Use an Uninstall tool to uninstall Bitdefender (e.g., Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, Bitdefender Internet Security, Bitdefender Total Security)
  2. Then, perform a system restore by following the steps.
  3. Restart your system in Safe Mode.
  4. Go to the Windows icon and type System Restore. Then, click on Create a Restore Point.
  5. Then, tap the System Restore button.
  6. Now click Next, follow the given steps, and reboot the system in normal mode.
  7. Lastly, reinstall the Bitdefender antivirus software.

Solution 2: Boot your system

  1. Press the Windows and R keys to open the Run box.
  2. In that box, type msconfig and press enter.
