Avira or Avira Operations GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1986 by Tjark Auerbach. However, technically Avira came into existence in 2004. The headquarter of the company is in Tettnang, Germany. Today, the company is owned by NortonLifeLock, an American computer software company. Apart from that, the current CEO of the company is Travis Witteveen.
