Can't install antivirus

Are you unable to install antivirus? In some situations, a message may appear as Setup has encountered an error during the installation process on your Windows system. To fix the issue, you must know the causes that might be causing the issue on your system.   1. The installation error may occur due to the interference of the previous versions of software, which is not compatible with your current software. 
  2. You may not be putting the right keycode. 
  3. You may not be using the latest installer.

Solution 1: Close Webroot Software

  1. Open the notification bar on your system and right-click on the Webroot icon. 
  2. Then, tap “Shut Down Protection.”
  3. On the confirmation screen, click Yes. 
  4. The screen will display a Captcha code, re-enter it and click Continue. 
  5. Start the installation again, and your setup issue will be resolved. 

Solution 2: Move to Firewall Settings

  1. Go to the Settings Window by pressing the Windows and I keys together. 
  2. Then, tap on Update & Security. 
  3. Choose the Windows Security option. 
  4. And click on Firewall & Network protection. 
  5. Go to the Microsoft Defender Firewall option. 
  6. Lastly, toggle off the slider.
