Add protection to my Malwarebytes device

You can enable the protection features on your Malwarebytes account, such as real-time protection, safe browsing scanning, and many more.

To enable real-time protection:

  1. Launch Malwarebytes on your Android.
  2. Then, tap on the menu icon.
  3. Now, click Settings.
  4. Then, click Protection.
  5. Check the boxes for real-time protection and anti-ransomware protection to enable them. When you disable the real-time protection, the anti-ransomware protection will be disabled automatically.
  6. While enabling real-time protection, an About Administration window will appear. To enable Device Administration permissions, click Do it now.

To enable Safe Browsing Scanner:

  1. Launch Malwarebytes for Android.
  2. Then, click the menu.
  3. Now, click Settings.
  4. Then, click Protection.
  5. After that, click the Safe Browsing scanner.
  6. Then an Accessibility Services window will appear; click Allow.
  7. Now the device’s accessibility menu will appear.
  8. Turn on the Accessibility Services to enable the safe browsing scanner.
  9. Then, click "Allow."
  10. Disable Accessibility Services to disable the Safe Browsing scanner.
