Having trouble with your Bitdefender Antivirus

If you don’t want to charge any more for the Bitdefender account, you can cancel the auto-renewal option. The Bitdefender notifies you via email 30 days before the auto-renewal takes place. That email will give you complete details about the renewal and a link to cancel the service. If the auto-renewal remains enabled, the Bitdefender subscription will be continued.

However, you cannot remove your credit card alone from your account; you need to cancel the auto-renewal to prevent a further deduction from your account. 

There is a complete process to cancel the subscription:

1. Visit  https://store.bitdefender.com/myaccount/ in your browser. 
2. Enter the email address linked to your Bitdefender account.
3. Next, tap on “Send Access Link.” 
4. You will get an email with an access link.
5. It will be valid only for one hour.
6. Open the link, and a new tab will open.
7.  When opened, click on Continue. 
8. Then, launch the “My Accounts” tab from the top of the page. 
9. Next, tap on “Stop automatic subscription renewal” for the cancellation of the automatic renewal subscription. 
10. After That, a window will appear on the screen. 
11. Pick out the reason to stop the auto-renewal in a drop-down list. 
12. Next, double-click on the “Stop auto-renewal” option. 
13. Now the automatic renewal status will be updated.
14. Then, you will get a confirmation email saying that the Bitdefender account license (auto-renewal) has been successfully canceled.
