Add protection to my Bitdefender device

You can add protection to your Bitdefender device through the NETGEAR Armor subscription, which includes Total Security software for your device (mac, PC, iOS, and Android). With the NETGEAR Armor, you will get various features, including remote device location and data theft protection for all your connected devices. Hence, you will be protected from potential threats from the internet.

Follow the steps to add protection to your Bitdefender device.

  1. Open the Nighthawk or Orbi app.
  2. Then, tap on Security. 
  3. Now tap on Bitdefender Security Available. You will see a notification containing features of Bitdefender Security. 
  4. After that, tap on Got it.
  5. Then, a list of connected devices that don’t have Bitdefender Security installed will appear. 
  6. Select a device you need to install Security on. The screen will show all the details of that device. 
  7. After that, go to Add Bitdefender Security and then select Install. 
  8. Now, you have to send an installation link through email, text message, or the Airdrop feature (for iOS). 
  9. Now, you need to choose a Sharing method. 
  10. With the device, you selected to install Security on, open the activation link you sent earlier. 
  11. Then, go with the on-screen instructions to get Bitdefender Security installed on the device. 
  12. After that, put the login details for NETGEAR single-sign-on. 
  13. Again follow steps 6 and 11.
