A troubleshooting tool might help you fix the update error if the main cause wasn't the less storage. The tool is capable of keeping your Windows updated and free from errors. You need to follow certain steps to run this tool. 

1. Go to the Start menu on your Windows. 
2. Click on the gear icon or Settings. 
3. Under the Settings section, click on Update & Security. 
4. Now, tap on Troubleshoot under Update & Security. 
5. Then, tap on the Additional Troubleshooter option. 
6. After that, tap on Windows Update and select “Run the Troubleshooter.” 
7. Lastly, restart your computer.
