Unable to login my Avast account

Wrong Password: Maybe you forgot your password, and you are entering the wrong one, that's why you are unable to login into your account.

The account is locked: You can face the issue of your being unable to login to your Avast account when it has been locked.

Solution 1. Check if your password is correct

  1. First, you need to check you are entering the right password for your account. If your password is wrong, then follow the below steps. 
  2. Go to the official website of Avast on any web browser on your device. 
  3. After that, move to the recover password page on the website. 
  4. Now, you need to type your account email address and click on the Continue option. 
  5. Next, you will receive an email to change your account password link. 
  6. Click on the link and select on Reset Password button. 
  7. You need to create a new password and then click on the Continue option. 
  8. Furthermore, choose the option Continue to account to sign into your account using the new password.

Solution 2. Check whether the Avast server is down

  1. Open any other website to check if the Avast server is down. If the other websites open, that means the Avast server is down. 
  2. You need to wait for a while and then again try to log into your account. 
  3. If you still face the issue, in this case, you need to contact the Avast support team.

  2. After that, from the open list of options, Subscription information. 
  3. There you will see the information about your subscription plan. Check you see the activated written next to it.
