Having trouble with your Trend Micro Antivirus

Solution

1. Go to the security server and open the ..\PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\ClientPackager.
2. After that, you need to double-click on ClnPack.exe to run the tool. Later the client packager window will open on the screen. (Make sure to run the program from Trend Micro Security Server only.)
3. When you have to choose the system type, choose 32-bits or 64-bits based on the operating system you are using. 
4. In the next step, you need to select the scanning method you want to use. 
   • Smart Scan: It helps in scanning the clients. Also, the scan server is automatically included in the Security Server. 
   • Conventional Scan: It is a local scan engine on the client scan on the client's computer. In this option, the traditional virus pattern file is used. 
5. After that, you are required to choose the type of package you want to make. So, you need to choose either the Setup or Update option. 
6. Now, from under the Options selection, choose any of the follow-up options. 
   • Disable prescan: It helps disable the normal file scan before starting up the setup. Use this online when you are sure the client has no threat. 
   • Silent mode: This mode creates a package that works in the background. Plus, it is not noticed by the users. Also, you do not see the installation status. 
7. Make sure that, the location of the ofcscan.ini file is right in the field of the Source file. If you want to modify the path, you need to click on the ellipsis (…)  option that is located next to the Source file field. 
8. After that, you need to click on the ellipsis (…) in front of the output file and fix the file name and location to make the package. 
9. Next, you need to click on the Create option. 
10. A pop-up will appear on the screen to say, “Package created successfully!”, click on the OK option.
