Having trouble with your Trend Micro Antivirus

2. Go to the search section of the Run box and enter supporttool.exe, then click on OK. 
3. After that, the user control window will show up on the screen, and you need to choose the Yes option. Later the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit will appear on the screen.
4. Then, you are required to click on the Uninstall tab. 
5. Next, select Uninstall Software. 
6. Now, choose Yes and copy the serial number from there. 
7. Click on the “I copied my serial number” check box and then select the uninstall option. 
8. If you see a prompt to restart your PC, then select Yes. 
9. Furthermore, you need to browse the official website of Trend Micro on your PC's browser. 
10. Then enter your account credentials to sign in to your account. 
11. Now, click on the download option under the Trend Mirco product you want to reinstall. 
12. After that, under the Download to This Device, click on Download once again. Then, a new tab will appear for downloading the installer. 
13. Once the download is complete, double-click on it to launch the installer. Then, select the Yes option if you see the User Account Control window. 
14. Go along the instructions to complete the installation process. 
15. To activate the account, fill out the account information. 

Solution 2. Update your Trend Micro application

1. Go to the Taskbar notification area and right-click on the Trend Micros icon. 
2. Then, you need to click on the Check for program update option. 
3. When the update is downloaded install it on your device. 
4. After you see the Components are up-to-date, then choose Close. (The latest version of the update is 17.7.1634. 

Solution 3. Uninstall other antivirus products from your device.

1. When you are on the desktop, click on the Start option. 
2. From the available list of options, click on the Settings option. 
3. Then, you need to click on the Apps option and select Apps & Features. 
4. Now, locate the app you want to remove the app then choose More, and then click on the install option.
