  7. Click Configure in the Items to Exclude from the Scans row. 
  8. Next, click Add Folders or Add Files in the window that appears.
  9. Click the browse icon in the Add Item dialog box.
  10. Here, select the item that you want to exclude from the scan.
  11. Next, click OK.
  12. In the window that appears, click Apply, and then click OK.
