Solution 2: Reset your Norton account password.

  1. First, visit Forgot Password page on Norton's official website. 
  2. Enter your email address while purchasing a Norton product or creating your account. 
  3. Click Continue. 
  4. You will receive an email from Norton with reset password instructions.
  5. Check your spam or junk folders if the email needs to show up.
  6. Open the email and click the Reset Password button.
  7. Type in and create a new password for your Norton account.

Open your Norton product and click Help>New Version Check to check for a newer version.

  5. Under Exclusions/Low Risks, you can select any of the following:
  6. Click Configure in the Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, Script Control, Behavioral Protection, and Download Intelligence Detection row.
  7. Click Configure in the Items to Exclude from the Scans row. 
  8. Next, click Add Folders or Add Files in the window that appears.
  9. Click the browse icon in the Add Item dialog box.
  10. Here, select the item that you want to exclude from the scan.
  11. Next, click OK.
  12. In the window that appears, click Apply, and then click OK.
